The second long-awaited Brainfinity problem has arrived, and it's the virtual stock market!

Dear Brainfinity teams, you have a problem in front of you that you’ve undoubtedly been eagerly anticipating.

The second Brainfinity problem is a very interesting task. You will have the opportunity to try your hand at one of the most fascinating jobs – trading on the stock market!

You will be given a certain amount of money, and your task is to invest it wisely to make a profit. It’s essential to know that all the money in this problem is imaginary, so you can enjoy playing on the stock market without worrying about potential losses.

You've been entrusted with $20,000. How will you use it wisely?

In this problem, we give you a specific sum of money and invite you to, over the course of a month during this challenge, invest your money wisely and rationally in the stock market. The value of stocks on the market fluctuates every minute, making it always uncertain.

Should you buy stocks at a certain moment or wait a bit longer? These are just some of the decisions you’ll face.

Your results will depend solely on how you analyze the market on the stock exchange and your investments.

Note: Be sure to register with your team name!

How does the stock market work?

Exchanges are large organized financial markets. They represent a market where money or securities are traded according to established rules.

On the stock market, it’s crucial to stay updated on world events because it deals with trading company stocks. Stock values change literally every minute.

While trading on the stock exchange is simple, it takes time to refine your skills and come up with a good strategy. You should always be well-informed and think about how to invest your money to improve your portfolio.

What is your task in this problem?

To be able to trade stocks on the stock market, you need to log in to the MarketWatch website, create an account with your team’s email by October 30, and then enter the game here. Please note that you must access the game using this link before October 30.

After October 30, you won’t be able to access the game because starting from October 30, the stock market will be open for trading from 3:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. Observe the companies you can invest in, follow current global trends and research whether the companies you’re investing in are in crisis or experiencing significant growth. These are some suggestions for successful stock trading. We advise against investing in companies that everyone else is investing in. Let each individual think for themselves, and then make decisions together.

REMINDER: To participate in solving this problem, it’s necessary to register by October 30, as you won’t be able to access the game after that, and you’ll lose the chance to participate in solving this problem.

You can compete until November 30. After that, we will compile a ranking list with teams that have earned the most. All teams that achieve more than a 1% profit or are in the top 20 will move on to the next phase of the Brainfinity competition.

Once again, we would like to point out that the money used is not real, but imaginary. Enjoy this challenge!
