The Brainfinity School project was launched three weeks ago, and judging by the students’ reactions, it’s a roaring success. 

Students who attend BF School filled out a questionnaire, expressing their impressions about the school. 

“ It’s great to work in groups with people we don’t know, because all of us have completely different opinions”, “I love the fact that we have the opportunity to acquire knowledge that is atypical, and which helps us solve real-life situations and problems”, “We wouldn’t change a single thing” are just some of the answers the students gave concerning their experience with Brainfinity School so far.

BFS classes are held online every week, via Google Meet. The program includes interactive lectures, discussions and video materials that students can discuss and analyze.

Students especially like video sketches/scenes that depict various situations and problems that need solving played by professional actors. After each sketch, actors invite students to help them solve the problem in question.

Students have already tackled interesting and challenging problems, but the best is yet to come.

Among other things, students had the task of helping a lovable, but quarreling group (actors in the sketch) to make a decision on who is the most super of superheroes, whereby the decision had to be based on objective criteria instead of personal preferences.

Factors taken into account included superheroes’ efficiency in their fight against bad guys, their involvement in humanitarian work, the extent to which they use their superpowers to promote good values, how modest or communicative they are, or how arrogant and inaccessible to mere mortals.

Who do you think won: Batman, Superman, Hulk, Spiderman, or someone else.

Student commitment in class is rewarded with a unique cryptocurrency designed specifically for Brainfinity School. Thus, students had the opportunity to earn their first cryptocurrencies – BrainCoinFinities, where each is worth 100 Brain Cents, for their commitment in class.

The Brainfinity School project was designed with the intention to offer an even more challenging and engaging problem solving content to students who showed interest and achieved success in the previous Brainfinity Challenges. In addition to problems, this project involves debates, interactive teaching and theoretical knowledge about problem solving and related disciplines which have proved to be very useful and valuable in the 21st century.
