As you are well-aware, problem solving is a skill that requires constant practice, much like sports. Your little gray cells must not be idle for too long, but should be kept “in shape”. Only regular exercise can ensure continuous progress in problem solving, and that means developing your creativity, critical thinking, and overall cognitive ability.

For that reason, we want to make sure that the remaining time until the finals is not wasted, but spent practicing. We have prepared Brainfinity projects that will require you to be fully concentrated and keep your detective skills on high alert in the next three weeks.

There are three Brainfinity projects in total, and the first one is available on the BF platform, so you can start solving it immediately.

In addition to being a great exercise for the finalists, Brainfinity projects also represent a new chance for all BF teams that competed this year to qualify for the finals. 

Yes, you heard right! Absolutely ALL Brainfinity teams that do well in solving BF projects have a chance to qualify for this year’s finals without exception – both those that qualified for this year’s BF challenge, and those that didn’t.

1. The first step is to log into the platform where there is the first Brainfinity project for you, from Monday, 11 April.

2. The second step is to solve the first Brainfinity project. You have five days – until next Friday, 15 April, midnight.

3. The third step – Once you have solved the tasks from the project, you submit the answers exclusively to the BF platform you downloaded the project from. And that is all. The road to the finals can begin!

Note: Pay attention to the number of pages this task has. The whole task is not only on the first page but on four pages.

However, to join the finalists, you need to solve BF projects and rank among the first four teams by the number of points.

So, dear problem solvers, do not slack off, but sink your teeth into the Brainfinity projects, and get cracking!

The Brainfinity project includes a comprehensive task which is the same for all students, and your team has as many as five days to complete it.

So, you can send your answers within 5 days following the publishing of the Brainfinity project, i.e. by the following Friday, midnight.

The teams are to send their answers to BF platform, after which our jury will evaluate them.

This time, we will not evaluate the answers sent after the deadline.

As you know, Brainfinity is a Collaborative Problem Solving Challenge, which is why we only accept teamwork in the project.

The tasks we have prepared for you in the Brainfinity project are taken from “BIGZ školstvo” textbooks. Although these tasks address individuals, disregard this fact and solve them ONLY with your four-member teams.

We would also like to thank our partner “BIGZ školstvo” for allowing us to use their tasks for the Brainfinity project.
