Brainfinity 2020 finals are over! These are the winning teams

This year’s Brainfinity has been successfully concluded!

Forty-five teams from 25 towns in Serbia competed in the finals. All participants demonstrated exceptional knowledge, resourcefulness and team spirit, but only four teams won the competition and brought home gold medals.

These are the winners of Brainfinity 2020

5th grade

  • 1st place – Malci genijalci, Elementary School Ujedinjene nacije, Belgrade
  • 2nd place – Filip na kvadrat, Elementary School Filip Filipović, Belgrade
  • 3rd place – 4smart, Elementary School Jovan Sterija Popović, Belgrade

6th grade

  • 1st place – Sremačka družina, Elementary School Simeon Aranicki, Stara Pazova
  • 2nd place – Androids, Elementary School 10. oktobar, Elementary School Jovan Mikić, Subotica
  • 3rd place – IT Isidorci, Elementary School Isidora Sekulić, Pančevo

7th grade

  • 1st place – Winfinity, Elementary School Dule Karaklajić, Lazarevac
  • 2nd place – Big Brain Time, Elementary School Borislav Pekić, Belgrade
  • 3rd place – M3D2, Elementary School 23. oktobar, Sremski Karlovci

8th grade

  • 1st place – Grupa1, Elementary School Jovan Sterija Popović, Belgrade
  • 2nd place – Ekipa na kvadrat, Elementary School Jovan Jovanović Zmaj, Pančevo
  • 3rd place – Jura Đakšić, Elementary School Đura Jakšić, Kikinda

Valuable prizes for all finalists

All contestants who competed in Brainfinity received welcome gifts in the finals, whereas the winners also won medals, as well as tablets (courtesy of the Institute for Contemporary Education, Savremena Gimnazija, Information Technology High School – ITHS, and Information Technology School – ITS), vouchers for escape room (4 sobe escape room), vouchers for foreign language courses (Hellas school), books (BIGZ publishing house), sweet boxes (Swisslion company), free workshop packages (MENSA) and training courses (Brainfactory).

Teachers-mentors whose teams competed in the finals received a 50% discount on the annual membership at the Institute for Contemporary Education, whereas the mentors of the winning teams were gifted a free annual membership at the Institute.

Mentors of the winning teams also received books from Brainfactory, as well as vouchers for free IQ testing from MENSA.
